How to Share your Beachbody Coach Experience Without Selling

Here’s the thing. We want you to become a Beachbody Coach without ‘selling’. That is, we want you to be passionate about the products that you believe in and then simply share those ‘TOOLS’ (key word) with those you care about. This is a relationship-based business, first and foremost. To that I will add that the most accomplished coaches lead from a place of helping, not profit. Do what you love, operate from a sincere desire to help better the lives of others, and the rest will fall right into place.

How to Share Your Beachbody Experience Without Selling

Don’t sell- just share!

When you believe in something, your enthusiasm generates the conversion – there’s not any aggressive selling on your part. If someone doesn’t want what you’ve got, that’s great! You want people who are going your way – people who are ready to receive what you’re offering; People who are going your way and WANT want you have achieved. This is exactly the reason we encourage all of our new coaches to first join our next Challenge Group to experience a Beachbody program first-hand and see what an amazing job we do for our clients in our private, online support groups.

In short, don’t sell the product; just let people know in a conversational way what business you’re in and why you love the product. Tell them about your successes and how passionate you are about what it can do for people. Tell them your story, and your own personality will do the ‘selling’ for you.

Remember – people don’t care what you know until they know that you care. Our modus operandi is to ask questions, and then – ask more questions. We want to understand our clients’ needs!

Coaching and Connecting.

Coaching is about connecting people to tools that work. In that process, we are the facilitators – the proverbial ‘hand out’ as a means to offer a solution to a problem. Sharing our successes and our stories with others encourages them to become proactive about their health and is not going to come across as ‘pushy’ or ‘sales-drive’. Care first. Ask questions. Be passionate. Leave space. Follow up. Be sincere. The rest will occur as a natural byproduct of being real with people.

Let the Product Speak for Itself.

We are coaches because we are passionate about the product, the community, and the results we’ve achieved (or will achieve!) through Beachbody programs and products. 

Here’s the deal: When I completed my first round of P90X back in 2008, I was a HUGE skeptic. Prior to that, I was meandering at the gym and knew little about nutrition. I took a chance on P90X and feared the results shown on the TV and Internet were actors who were photoshopped. In 30 days, I lost nearly 30 lbs and slipped into single-digit body fat. Needless to say, I was blown away and became a believer in Beachbody and Shakeology.

At that time, I knew nothing about coaching. Yet, friends and family were literally shocked by my results and were asking me how I did it, and if I could help them get similar results. You see, I was coaching others without even realizing it at first! I then learned that Beachbody had a plan in place to compensate those who were doing what I was doing. They call us ‘coaches’, and officially becoming a coach was a very natural extension of what I was already doing!

The power we have in our own network is huge — I’ve literally lost tack of how many times I’ve heard someone say, “If it wasn’t for knowing you personally, I would have thought all the transformation stories were Photoshopped.” The POWER is that I am directly connected to these people. As such, I gave them hope and a belief for what was possible. The rest, as they say, is history. Like me, you have your own immense network of people. Don’t underestimate the volume of people that you know and of those, the amount that are desperate to learn how to get fit and eat healthy. When you break down family, friends, colleagues, co-workers, acquaintances, high school friends, professors, neighbours and so on, your ‘reach’ is really never-ending. Think of all the people that you could potentially help!

In summary, don’t stress about selling! Change the wording if it helps and call it ‘HELPING’, because that is what we do. Relax, share your story, and invite others along for the ride while offering them the support that you can. It’s as simple as that.
